I have known Wayne Turner for over 5 years in my time as CEO with Down Syndrome SA. Initially providing us with consultancy around our transition into the NDIS as one of the early entrants as part of the Children’s trial site, in 2016 he worked with us on achieving the Australian Service Excellence Accreditation the first time in the organisations history. In 2018 he assisted us once again with our strategic direction of a merger for Down Syndrome SA which was completed early 2019.
Wayne’s knowledge of boards, strategy, governance and quality have given Down Syndrome SA and myself expert knowledge and consultancy at crucial times to deliver results through the organisations journey. At all times I have been impressed with Wayne’s skills, his professionalism, customer service and the passion and enjoyment he has for his work.
Maureen Lawlor, General Manager
Eastwood Community Centre Inc engaged Wayne to undertake the audit for the Centre under the Australian Service Excellence Standards. Wayne was known to the Centre and staff as he had been engaged to undertake work in areas of Human Resources, Governance and Strategic Planning in previous years.
Staff, management committee members, volunteers, tutors and participants found Wayne’s communication style easy going, engaging and non-threatening. He has a great understanding of the community based not-for-profit sector and we all were able to engage within a formal audit process without feeling like we were being tested or on trial.
I would highly recommend Wayne to undertake any work in a diversity of areas – Strategic Planning, Human Resources and Quality Assurance.

In 2018 Cajebi Consulting delivered some governance training for our Port Lincoln community on behalf of the Port Lincoln Bendigo Community Bank & Eyre Futures Inc, the training was relevant, engaging, and very easy to comprehend. Wayne was able to answer all questions and is approachable, his style of delivery gave the wide and diversified group a much better understanding of all aspects of governance in their varied organisations. We would highly recommend Cajebi Consulting to anyone wishing to engage in governance training.
